Vee Jei Choi
Vee Jei Choi is a Korean illustrator and painter currently living in Sydney, completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School in 2025. Choi is developing innovative practices through the use of her combination of watercolour, ink, acrylic, and oil paint to assert the intuitiveness with the use of the materiality and express intimacy and personal memory. Choi aims to resonate the quietness, personal emotions, and subtle moments with her work through using tonal colours, contrasting tones to create a visually unclear figure or space, and the dreamy blending textures from the brushes and towels.
