Mashal Batra

Mashal Batra is a multidisciplinary artist living and working on Gadigal Land, Sydney. Her work explores astrology as a metaphorical framework for understanding individual identity, psychological connections, and the shared archetypal patterns that shape human experience. Drawing from both Vedic and Western astrological systems, she transforms mythical imagery, symbols and personal material into abstract, intuitive paintings. Currently completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School (majoring in painting), she invites viewers into a dialogue between recognisable and ambiguous, planned and accidental connections, and to reflect on the subtle forces that move through human life and everyday decision-making.
