Alyssa Hamersma

Alyssa Hamersma is an emerging multidisciplinary artist currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the National Art School, majoring in Painting. She has exhibited at Goodspace Gallery, Sydney, and has received multiple first-place awards at the Hawkesbury Show for painting and drawing. She was also asked to complete a mural for Emu Plains Public School in 2025, which is now on display within the library, and has been a guest art teacher at this same school. While Alyssa is constantly exploring new paths of creation, her current focus is on expanding her painting practice through an investigation of fairy tales and folklore.
