Emma Regner (b.2005, Randwick, NSW) is an Australian and Japanese national who is based in Sydney NSW. She is completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2025, majoring in Painting. She creates autobiographical artworks that highlight themes surrounding interpersonal relationships, issues of self worth, the past, sexuality and sex, and bodily autonomy. She works with oil on canvas, exploring figuration using expressive lines. Her artworks express and aim to evoke feelings of rage, fear, confusion, lust and love. The imagery she creates is abject, symbolic, referential and at times violent and disturbing. The titles of her artworks are intimate confessions, revealing true inner thoughts had by the artist.
