Ling Chi Yuan

Ling Chi's main practice is rooted in both drawing and painting. Her work is heavily informed by concepts of reproduction and information, serving as a visual path for seeking identity. Her chosen motifs carry essential details, which she uses to actively manipulate surfaces and build layers of meaning over time. Ling Chi holds a Bachelor of Fashion and Textile Design from the University of Technology, Sydney (2007). She has participated in several international and national competitions and projects with creative organisations, including Craft Victoria in Melbourne and the esteemed embroidery atelier Hand and Lock in England.
