Danae Tsapilis

Danae Tsapilis is a contemporary Australian artist based in Sydney, NSW, completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School (graduating 2025). Her practice spans ceramics and drawing, exploring the emotional weight of recovery and the dialogue between lived experience and material expression. In ceramics, she investigates slip-cast porcelain vessels as forms of healing and growth, while her drawing practice reflects personal experiences requiring contemplation and reflection. Danae has exhibited in multiple group shows, including the NAS Stairwell Gallery exhibition “Answer." Overall, her work explores transformation, resilience, and the intersection of personal narrative with material form.
