Sosiua Pouhila Afa

Sosiua Pouhila Afa is a Sydney/Eora-based artist currently completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture at the National Art School. His practice lies at the intersection of technomancy, ritual, identity, and human connection, exploring how invisible bonds form through perception, communication, and shared ritual. Working across video, sculpture, installation, and performance, he explores the intersection of technology and magic through gestures, silences, and accumulations that unfold over time. Afa has exhibited in Hooray for Hollywood, curated by David Art Wales and MART, and starred in the FRINGE Festival play Booba. His work traces unseen networks that hold communities together beyond language.
