Chogi Uuj-miller

Chogjmoo Uuj is a Mongolian American painter who earned her BA in Painting at the State Art Academy in Moscow and the National Art School in Sydney. Her drawings, watercolors, and paintings explore complex human conditions, including identity, self-perception, and the universal tensions between despair and hope. The monochromatic tones that characterize her figurative and landscape works are enriched by her use of ink and pencil, drawing inspiration from the terrains of Mongolia and Siberia. Her artworks are held in private collections in Russia and Mongolia.
