Pia Marjanovic
Pia Marjanovic (b. 2005) is an Australian multidisciplinary artist who specializes in oils on canvas. Her approach involves observing, reflecting, and exploring. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School. Uncovering intimate moments and spatial interactions, hoping to evoke a presence through absence. Marjanovic has taken her lived experiences in European, North African, and Middle Eastern countries to expand her process of creating. Her current work often revolves around architectural spaces, focusing on themes of stillness, periods of existence, and memory. Marjanovic’s travel ignited her curiosity between the relationship of people and their spaces, whether we leave imprints or essences of ourselves once we depart.
