Paige Hottwagner
Paige Hottwagner is a Sydney-based ceramic artist in her third year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School. Her ceramic practice blends material experimentation with close study of botanical and microscopic structures. Focusing on the natural patterns of growth, she creates abstract ceramic vessels informed by the biology of flowering plants, particularly pollen grains. Working across wheel-throwing and hand-building, she employs precise carving, controlled glazing, and warm, restrained tones to highlight form, structure, and surface.
