Keisha Lucas
Keisha Lucas is currently concluding her bachelor's degree at The National Art School. She has taken part in various group exhibitions and has work kept in private collections throughout Australia. In her paintings, Keisha explores the aesthetics and philosophies of abstract modern art. Her work is predominantly engaged with her interest in art history and incorporating techniques, ideas and methodologies used by artists in the past into her own painting practice. In her work, she interrogates the relationship between pure abstraction and representational painting through the synthesis of these two conflicting elements.
