Fiona Verity

Verity’s practice explores memory, place, and loss through drawing and printmaking, centring women’s experiences and voices. An energetic and committed artist, she draws daily, using mark-making to translate thought and feeling into form. Since beginning to exhibit in 2013, she has shown work in group exhibitions across Sydney, including Tiliqua Tiliqua, Sydney Road Gallery, and Manly Regional Gallery, alongside regular solo shows. Before studying full-time at the National Art School, she founded The Outsiders, an en plein air drawing group for adults. Verity also co-founded the acclaimed arts podcast Art W**k, which since 2021 has featured conversations with hundreds of artists and creative practitioners.
