Annabel Sutton

Annabel Sutton

Annabel Sutton is a multi-disciplinary artist from the Northern tablelands of NSW, on land outside Coolah - the intersection of Kamilaroi and Wiradjuri Country. Sutton’s practice is research based with a focus on rurality in Australia. Her work moves fluidly between printmedia, sculpture, and installation, engaging with complex histories, language and the psychologically geographical dimensions of belonging. Annabel is a co-cordinator of student run ARI, Pinpoint, at NAS, and previously graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2022 with distinction in the Creative Industries, majoring in Visual Art. She was a finalist in the Brenda Clouten Memorial Scholarship at Maitland Regional Art Gallery in 2020 and her works are included in the collections of Curtin University, RMIT and the University of South Queensland.
