Amelia Schremmer
Amelia Schremmer is a Sydney-based multidisciplinary artist. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art (Sculpture) from the National Art School, and a Certificate IV in Arts and Cultural Administration from TAFE NSW. Schremmer’s research-driven practice has led to the development of a series of unique bioplastic formulations. Derived from organic matter, her experimental body of work consists of self-fabricated bioplastic art objects and installations which explore the female body in a socially and technologically mediated world. Schremmer has exhibited in group shows at commercial galleries across Sydney, and was a finalist in the Royal Hotel Paddington Mural Competition.
