Amelia Maresh
Amelia Maresh (b. 2005) is a Czech-Australian artist who lives and works on Bidgigal and Gadigal Land in Sydney, NSW. Working primarily in oil paint, Maresh’s practice examines the experience of warped-perception and abjection. Her works combine natural and surreal forms to create dreamlike compositions that reflect the artist’s experience living with Visual Snow Syndrome. Maresh attained her Bachelor of Fine Art at the National Art School, graduating in 2025 and has exhibited in a range of groups shows (IGS Grad Show– 2022, Skeleton Project– 2023, Whiplash– 2025) as well as recently curating her own solo show (For the Sea– 2025).
