Jade Mosca
Jade Mosca (b. 2003) grew up between Eora/Sydney and Cavanbah/Byron Bay and is now currently undergoing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the National Art School. Mosca is a Photomedia artist residing in Eora/Sydney who investigates the female gaze through disembodied self-portraiture. Mosca's process derived from the inherent oversexualisation placed on women's bodies within the art world. Her practice engages with materiality and objectivity to encourage the questioning of women's oversexualisation. Working with these materials and with the camera as a form of communication, expanding her own vision and language to acknowledge and challenge feminist issues.
