Ziggy Stefano
Ziggy’s practice is grounded in material experimentation and socio-political critique, informed by his lived experience as a trans and neurodivergent person. His work explores liminal space—physical, emotional, and systemic—through a focus on public transport, the built environment, and design semiotics. Using media including screen-printing, ceramics, latex casting, drawing, and digital fabrication, Ziggy investigates how cities shape identity, access, and movement. Ziggy has exhibited across Sydney and Melbourne, and in 2024 received the Bettina McMahon printmaking prize.
