Ella Davison
Ella Davison is a Sydney-based artist whose practice explores the intimate, physical, and psychological relationship between the body and the rock face. Rooted in her experience as a rock climber, her work explores climbing as a layered act of discovery and dialogue with the environment, mapping traces of movement and touch in paint. Born in London, she studied at the City & Guilds of London Art School before relocating to Sydney to study at the National Art School. Her work is held in private collections in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
