Genevieve Jobes
Genevieve Jobes is a visual artist working on Cammeraygal and Duwamish Lands. She grew up embracing the outdoors and has enjoyed a career spanning archaeology and technology, both of which inform her practice. Her torn-edged paintings evoke the feeling of being in the field, whereby found materials are fabricated into unpredictable inventions. Surface and survey document our layered, irregularly framed environments. Recently, Genevieve exhibited at Tiliqua Tiliqua Gallery, Newcastle Art Space and multiple selections with the Library Stairwell Gallery. She received a coveted Brandon Trackman Prize for Art History and Theory. Genevieve completed her BFA in Painting at National Art School in 2025.
